Introduction
Taking a stroll in the realm of UX/UI design, I stumbled upon a golden opportunity to redefine the BITA GmbH commercial website, in all its fintech glory, back in November 2022.
As the sole designer, I had the privilege of redesigning the interface, incorporating a sleek and intuitive design to breathe life into the digital platform.
I strived to transform the user experience, ensuring our clients found the website as smooth to navigate as a Sunday morning drive.
My personal pièce de résistance was the 'Index Lab'. A new section dedicated to showcasing our thematic indexes, becoming a testament to our continuous innovation.
Design and Prototyping
I plunged headfirst into the design process, starting with rough sketches gradually morphed into sophisticated wireframes. The finale was a symphony of interactive prototypes that resonated with my vision. (To see the magic unfold, check out my work).
Challenges
Every great adventure has its challenges. Working with a dedicated developer juggling multiple projects, clear and precise communication became our secret weapon against time constraints and technical limitations.
Implementation and results
The beast was tamed, but not alone. My designs were implemented in perfect harmony with developers and project managers. And the beast didn't just behave, it performed.
Introduction
Let's bake a cake called "Efficiency" and say goodbye to the tedious manual process of creating 'Factsheets' in the sweetest way possible!
Every great recipe starts with a secret ingredient. In this case, I set out to find a creative solution to our 'Factsheet' dilemma.
My goal was to transform design templates into a front-end interface as seamless as turning dough into a beautifully baked cake.
The final touch was to design a new app called 'Factsheets Generator,' our very own digital pastry chef.
Design and Prototyping
Cooking up this solution involved using Figma and its Google Sheet Sync plugin to create semi-automated processes. These were like our digital measuring cups, perfectly filling design templates with data and crafting stylized graphs. I also whipped up the interface for the new 'Factsheet Generator' to command the API like a seasoned (pun intended) chef.
Challenges
Like any complicated recipe, challenges were on the menu. Automating this process was a time-consuming task. But when in a hot kitchen, improvise! This is where Figma and its Google Sheets Sync plugin came to our rescue.
Implementation and results
From raw ingredients to a baked cake, my designs were implemented in tandem with our developers and project managers. The results? A gourmet cake of customer satisfaction and efficiency.
